We both love nature & see beauty in almost everything,
with surrounding flora & fauna inspiring us.
We grow flowers & grasses in our gardens & have a seasonal choice of foliage & stems available from shrubs.
We forage for pine cones, pretty seedheads etc, whilst walking through local woodlands. We don't go anywhere without a spare bag!
We were both gifted 'grandmas' sewing boxes, full of embroidery threads, odd buttons, ribbon scraps & fabric oddments.
We incorporate these items into our work, e.g. ribbon scraps become flowers/leaves & buttons become a centrepiece.
We try to repurpose as much as possible, saving items from the black bin!
